The 2011 NEA awards kicked of Friday Sept 2 with the KICK OFF party at Club Remix in New York City. In typical NEW YORK style, things didn’t get started till late, 1amish, with people trickling in, while the Dee Jays filled the room with the best mix of hip-hop music.  On the turn-tables were DJ T (Nigeria), DJ Mighty Mike (Atlanta), and DJ Dice (New Jersey)
A few of the nominees graced the event (see photos below), which was hosted by Flashy Ent., N-Unite, and Amebor.
The night saw a lucky winner, Jerry Otomewo walked away with 2 complimentary Arik Air Plane tickets from the raffle.
